A cold start to winter has everyone looking for some place warm, however the small amounts of rain have been beneficial.

The long process of obtaining "Charity Status" for the Men's Shed has finally been acquired.

We at the Men's Shed have a growing need for another Shipping Container to store our growing pile of timber. Thanks to Colin Klein and Nat & Josh from the tavern we have enough timber to last us for the next year. If anyone has a spare container, so long as it is mouse and water-proofed, we are in the market. The Sausage Sizzle at Mitre 10 continues to be successful thanks to the community patronage.

We have many restored items for sale. There are 2 cots, a writing bureau, a wheelchair, gas heater, wooden silky oak kitchen chair, Queen Anne dresser, round extendable dining table, 2 wooden clothes airers, 2 single beds and an exquisite coffee table. We have had several new members in the past month who enjoy coffee, tea and camaraderie. We are open every Tuesday and Friday from 9.00 a.m. till noon.
