A Welcoming Place
The Men's Shed is a place where men can come together in a friendly atmosphere, engage in activities within their competencies or simply form friendships and chat about life.
We are there to support each other in our circumstances and together serve the community that we love so dearly.
Benefits & Opportunities
It is recognised that men's wellbeing is enhanced by physical activity, mental stimulation and social engagement. The Men's Shed organisation aims to provide an environment where men can meet and enjoy all of these benefits on a regular basis.
New friendships will emerge with mutual support, encouragement and a practical helping hand as needed.
In addition, the satisfaction of making a positive contribution to the community in which we live will be realised.
We're Not On Our Own!
Although we have our own elected executive leadership and make our own democratic decisions through a monthly members' meeting, we have the support of the Australian Men's Shed Association.
They provide us with resources to enhance our facilities as well as administrative support and advice. We also enjoy interaction with other affiliated Men's Shed Groups in our region and beyond.
We acknowledge the support and encouragement of the Toowoomba Regional Council who continue to provide administrative, financial and practical support to our Group.
We are also grateful to other levels of government, local businesses, service clubs and individuals for their grants, donations and utilisation of our services.
